Sylvain Crozon is a skilled data architect and software developer with over 10 years of experience in JEE software design and implementation, and 6 years in distributed systems and Big Data technologies. During his tenure as a Software Architect at Arctic Wolf, Sylvain contributed significantly to the company’s technological advancements. He previously served as Principal Architect at RANK Software, where he was instrumental in developing the company’s Machine Learning-based security analytics software, VASA. His work at BlackBerry included designing a platform for real-time contextualization of the user experience and integrating advanced analytics and reporting systems. Holding a Master’s degree in Electronics and Computer Science from ESEO, Sylvain’s career is marked by a commitment to innovation and excellence in software architecture and development, making him a key asset in advancing Apres’ development and optimization of and software solutions.

Edward Dean is a results-driven CTO with a wealth of experience in developing large-scale, mission-critical, enterprise-grade solutions. Edward’s career is characterized by his ability to lead sales and acquisition efforts, secure VC fundraising, and mentor teams to achieve high performance. As Distinguished Architect at Arctic Wolf Networks, he demonstrated his expertise in creating robust architectures and leading strategic initiatives. At Symantec, he played a pivotal role in integrating advanced security solutions as Senior Technical Director. His leadership as CTO at Perspecsys Inc., highlighted his ability to drive technological innovation and strategic growth. Michael Hart is a seasoned technical leader with over 25 years of experience in designing and building highly scalable systems. His career highlights include a decade at Arctic Wolf, where he played a pivotal role in scaling the company from its inception to a leader in the security space, managing the processing of 500 billion events per day across multiple AWS regions. Previously, Michael held key roles at BlackBerry and other notable companies, where he managed teams and systems critical to infrastructure design, performance, and scalability. He holds an Honours B.Comm with a minor in Computer Science from McMaster University. At Apres, Michael’s expertise in solving complex problems in fast-paced environments is invaluable in advancing the company’s technological capabilities.

Matthew Thurston brings over two decades of experience in software development and architecture to his role at Apres. As Chief Arctictect at Arctic Wolf Networks, Matthew was instrumental in driving the company’s technological advancements for over ten years. His tenure saw him leading the design and implementation of cutting-edge solutions that significantly enhanced the company’s cybersecurity capabilities. Before joining Arctic Wolf, Matthew served as a Software Architect at Blue Coat Systems, where he spent over a decade developing robust software solutions. His role involved designing scalable architectures and contributing to the company’s growth through innovative technologies. Matthew’s career began with roles as a Software Developer at MKSM and a Software Development Consultant at HumanCAD, where he honed his skills in software development and consulting. He also spent time at Virtek Vision International Inc., further expanding his expertise in complex software systems. Armed with an engineering degree in computer science and a problem-solving mindset, Rekha is a lifelong learner who thrives in collaborative environments. Rekha’s expertise spans software development, systems engineering,  IT infrastructure as well as building Go-to-Market and sales strategies. She has held senior leadership positions where she has successfully managed large teams, overseen critical projects, and driven organizational change. Rekha’s professional journey also includes board advisory positions at Canadian Red Cross (PAC) and PledgX. Additionally, she advises ClearSight Health Inc. and contributes to the Ontario Tech University Advisory Council (Women for STEM), where she champions the advancement of women in technology.
